Improving access to food effects health outcomes and quality of life. Currently 1 in 5 Philadelphians have difficulty obtaining healthy, fresh food. How might we use technology to reduce food insecurity in Philadelphia and improve our neighbors' quality of life?
Benefits Data Trust is excited to offer this guided workshop as part of Philly Tech Week 2018 presented by Comcast. Over the course of this event, teams will generate ideas, create prototypes, and present their solutions using human-centered techniques in response to the challenge above.
The event will bring together experts from the design, developer, data science and social service community, among many others. Likewise, subject area experts will be available for teams to consult with in order to understand why problems are so persistent and what disruptive technology can break through these problems.
